  1. Lead Graffiti Says:

I think you are now legally bound to know CPR. Maybe even to have one of those defibrillator thingys.

  2. Rich Says:

OK, I’m dense. I don’t get it. Giving life support to the old craft of letterpress printing? Crushing a warlock until he confesses his evil powers? EMT recruiting? It’s Sunday morning so I’m not at the height of my powers.

  3. Tina Lee Says:

As far as I’m concerned, it is funny.

  4. zeichenpress Says:

Rich, you silly! That’s YOU on the floor and that’s me practicing my resuscitation technique.

  5. Julie Russell-Steuart Says:

What it makes me think of is the Heimlich Manuever. As is she were adopting a technique called the “Zeichen Press” and yes, bringing something to life at the same time as claiming ownership by naming. That’s my theory, anyway. That’s the intellectual reasoning part, and yep, for purely gut-felt reactions, it’s just funny. Like Fran.

  6. zeichenpress Says:

Aww, Tina Lee and Julie Russel-Steuart are officially on my good list. Rich is on my woke-up-on-the-wrong-side-of-the-bed list.

  7. Casey Says:

Great metaphor, I love it. I had to think about the people then it came to me like a stuck mcnugget in my throat. Good job. You think your customer will get it or does it matter?

  8. zeichenpress Says:

Casey! Thanks for the kind words – I love what you’re doing down there in Texas. I don’t know if the customer will read too far into the logo – I just want to give them a chuckle.

  9. Rich Says:

Now THAT I get! All in all pretty cool.

  10. Card Chick Groupie Says:

CPR? I think you mean ZPR! The Card Chicks so totally ROCK! I also think The Zeichen Press would be a great dance, “Doin’ the Zeichen Press!”. I think it’s also a weightlifting term, no? You totally made my day! As usual.

  11. Casey Says:

After thinking about my comment I need to look at what I’m doing. You know it only matters sometimes what the customer thinks? I use a pig on my business card. They come to you for creativity and your sense of humor is wonderful. As long as your having fun it doesn’t matter. Your sense of humor shines through. Great job.
